The Austrian Flip-book Festival was launched by Reinhold Bidner and Christian Korherr in 2005. Since then 3 Festivals took place (2005, 2007 and 2010) and hundreds of flip-books were submitted. For the year 2011 the festival was invited by the Salzamt Linz to show a retrospective of the submitted works during (and in cooperation with) Crossing Europe 2011.
